Dick's Story
Hi there! I'm Dick, and I've been performing magic tricks since I was seven years old. It all started when my Uncle Jerry pulled a quarter out from behind my ear at Thanksgiving dinner in 1967. I was absolutely amazed — I couldn't figure out how he did it. I begged Uncle Jerry to show me, and from that moment on, Dick was hooked.
By age 12, Dick was performing at family gatherings. By high school, Dick was the most requested act at school talent shows. My classmates would chant "We want Dick! We want Dick!" before every performance, and I never let them down.
After college, Dick got a regular job in accounting, but the magic never stopped. Evenings and weekends were for practicing and performing. My wife, Carol, says she fell in love with me because of my tricks. "Dick's tricks swept me off my feet," she tells everyone at parties.
Now that I'm retired, I can finally devote myself full-time to what I love most: sharing Dick's tricks with the world. That's why I created this website — so anyone, anywhere, can experience the joy that Dick's tricks bring.

Magic isn't just about fooling people — it's about creating moments of wonder. When Dick performs a trick, it's not about Dick. It's about the look on YOUR face. That gasp, that smile, that moment where the whole world feels impossible — that's what Dick lives for.
Fun Facts About Dick
Dick owns over 200 decks of cards. Carol has asked him to stop buying more. Dick has not stopped.
Dick won 'Best Hands' at the 2019 Regional Magic Convention. He's very proud of this.
Dick once auditioned for a TV talent show. He didn't make it past the first round, but the producers said Dick had 'a lot of potential.'
Dick has a dog named Houdini who has learned to 'find the card' (Houdini just picks one at random, but Dick thinks it's real magic).
Dick has performed at over 300 birthday parties. He claims he's never done the same show twice.
Dick's dream is to write a book called 'The Big Book of Dick's Tricks.' Carol thinks the title needs work.
